Malteser Bunnies Protein Snack
Yes you read that right...a protein snack involving Malteser Bunnies!! Happy Easter fit-fam. Okay okay I will admit the macros would be a lot better minus 3 easter bunnies.
I have always had a sweet tooth so being able to find recipes to settle my cravings makes me disgustingly happy...introducing THE PEANUT MALTESER BUNNY BALL!
There is amazingly just 5 ingredients to this: Peanut Butter, Honey, Protein Powder, Flour and chocolate of your choice- malteser bunnies though (AHHH YUM)
- 100g Flour
- 2 Scoops of protein (any flavour- I used Optimum Nutrition Cookies and Cream)
- 95g Honey
- 130g Peanut butter
- 3 Malteser bunnies crushed (smacked that bunny with a rolling pin RIP)
Macros per ball
Place flour and protein in a medium sized bowl and mix together.
Add peanut butter (or almond butter), honey and crushed chocolate to the bowl.
Using a spoon or your hands fold ingredients together before kneading into a dough.
I added a splash of milk at this point (around 25 ml)
continue to knead the dough and begin to break off balls.
Roll dough like a snowball and voila- hello snack
Simple as. No cooking, no freezing, no waiting - tuck in !
